Shakrain (The kite festival)

Shakrain Festival (the Kite festival) is widely celebrated in Dhaka, Bangladesh and is known as Poush Sangkranti ,i.e, the end of the Bangla month Poush. During this celebration people fly different kites, invite others to join and now-a-days having a dj party is also in the list.

People of different generations participate in this celebration. They fly kites, eat together, fly `fanush`, dance together and of course there are mesmerising fireworks.
